Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse is a computer-animated superhero movie set in 2023 that stars Miles Morales / Spider-Man from Marvel Comics. It was made by Columbia Pictures, Sony Pictures Animation, Marvel Entertainment, and Sony Pictures Releasing. The Spider-Man 2 sequel: Into the Bug Stanza (2018), it is set in a common multiverse of imaginary worlds called the Bug Refrain. In their debuts as feature directors, Joaquim Dos Santos, Kemp Powers, and Justin K. Thompson direct from a screenplay written by David Callaham, Christopher Miller, and Phil Lord. Along with Hailee Steinfeld, Brian Tyree Henry, Luna Lauren Vélez, Jake Johnson, Jason Schwartzman, Issa Rae, Karan Soni, Daniel Kaluuya, and Oscar Isaac, Shameik Moore plays Miles. In the movie, Miles travels across the multiverse with Gwen Stacy, who plays Spider-Woman. There, he meets the Spider-Society, a new group of Spider-People led by Miguel O' Hara, who plays Spider-Man 2099. However, Miles disagrees with them about how to deal with a new threat. Sony started forming a continuation of Into the Bug Stanza before its 2018 delivery, with the composition and coordinating group joined. Zeroing in on the connection between Moore's Miles and Steinfeld's Gwen was set. The continuation was authoritatively reported in November 2019 and movement work started in June 2020, with an alternate visual style for every one of the six universes visited by the characters. Spider-Man: Homecoming is the longest animated film ever made by an American studio, running for 140 minutes.[5] Across the Spider-Verse had its world premiere on May 30, 2023, at the Regency Village Theatre in Los Angeles, California. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, its release in the United States was pushed back to June 2, 2023. The film, like its predecessor, has received universal praise from critics. It has procured more than $236 million against a creation spending plan of $100 million at the overall film industry, turning into the 10th most noteworthy netting film of 2023. The third Spider-Man movie: Beyond the Spider-Verse is set to come out on March 29, 2024, and a spin-off movie with a focus on women is in the works
